EastEnders fans have predicted there could be war on Albert Square when Kat Slater returns in the near future and runs into her old enemy Mel Owen.
The two fiery women clashed when they were both on the Square together as Kat often threw herself at Mel’s fella, Steve Owen, and thought the blonde was stuck-up.

Now fans of the show have predicted that their old resentments will return when Kat makes her comeback.
They have been discussing the possibility of a Kat-fight on Digital Spy forums.
One viewer said: “Mel and Kat did not get on, but Kat was constantly throwing herself at Steve so that’s no surprise.”
Another recalled: “Kat always hated her [Mel]”
While a third remembered: “I remember Mel and Kat working behind the bar and scrapping all the time.”
Obviously a lot of time has passed since they were both in the same place at the same time, but does that mean they will have chilled out at all?
Knowing Kat, probably not.
It was announced that Jessie Wallace would be returning as the fan favourite in December but show bosses have remained tight-lipped about the circumstances of her return.
All we know is that she makes a comeback to help Stacey and that her husband Alfie Moon isn’t with her.
Meanwhile a report in The Sun earlier this month suggested Walford would be rocked by the news Kat was dead.
An insider said: “Kat’s return has caused a lot of excitement, but it won’t be quite what everyone’s expecting.

“Rather than her friends and family rolling out the red carpet, the residents are told she has died. It’s set to be a very emotional storyline, but that’s probably fitting for Kat.”
We don’t have too long to wait as Jessie has been filming for a few weeks and should be on-screen in the spring!
