EastEnders fans howl with laughter as Stacey Fowler delivers “the best line on TV”

We chuckled, too.

Stacey Fowler had EastEnders fans in stitches this week when she delivered a killer comedy line to some of her family.

The Slater clan are having a rough time of it in Walford, thanks to Big Mo’s hairbrained scheme to pretend Kat was dead.

But amongst the doom and gloom, EastEnders scriptwriters decided to have some fun.

And it was very welcome amongst BBC1 viewers!

As Stacey enjoyed a cuddle with her gorgeous bubba, she was interrupted by mum Jean, Big Mo and Kat who sheepishly entered the lounge looking shady.

Big Mo, never one to be trusted, said: “Don’t turn your nose up. We’ve got a plan. A foolproof plan.”

To which Stacey responded: ‘What is this? Charlie’s Angels: The Golden Years?”

“Just face it,” she continued, as more eggs were thrown at their window. “We’re stuffed.”

But fans were already on Twitter howling with laughter at Stacey’s genius shade-throwing.

One even gave the ultimate praise, saying: “…..’Charlie’s Angels the golden years….’ best line on tv all week.”

In fact, things DID get better for the Slater family in last night’s episode (Thursday 5 April) when they showed their faces at The Queen Vic and faced down anyone who came up against them.

At first, all of those present – including the Carters, Ian Beale and Sharon Watts – threw insults at them, letting them know they weren’t welcome in their local boozer.

But, thanks to Diane’s intervention, the residents of Albert Square were shown the error of their ways…

Obviously this doesn’t mean the Slaters are suddenly family of the year, but at least they won’t get spat at in the street.

That is until they do something else wrong, of course!
