They compared it to Michael Jackson

EastEnders fans went into  meltdown last night as Stacey Fowler’s daughter, Lily, appeared to take a leaf out of Michael Jackson’s book by dangling a baby from an open window.

Viewers compared Lily’s heart-stopping stunt to an incident in 2002 when MJ dangled his new baby ‘Blanket’ off a balcony to show the waiting press.

Lily was holding Hope out of the window after being locked in by Stacey’s husband, Martin, who was on a mission to keep the kids and house away from his cheating wife.

The little girl shouted: “Mummy! Hope’s hungry” as she popped the baby – which we’re assuming wasn’t a real baby – out of the window, trying to get Stacey’s attention.

A panicked Stacey ran over to the house and urged her daughter to take the baby back inside where Martin took Hope back to safety.

Fans raced to Twitter to compare Lily to the late singer who made his gaffe at a hotel in Berlin.

“Lily recreating her favourite Michael Jackson moment…..#EastEnders” joked one viewer, while another said that the seven-year-old did the best MJ impersonation ever.

“Lily is 7? Yet she’s dangling baby out the window nearly. Who she think she is, Michael Jackson?” wondered another, while a fourth laughed at Lily for ‘doing a Michael Jackson.’

Martin had locked himself and the kids in the house to stop Stacey getting access after she walked out on him after Christmas.

This came after he couldn’t forgive her for her one night stand with Max Branning on Christmas Eve.

Stacey returned this week, and Martin threw her out of the house, saying she wasn’t going to get their home or children.
