EastEnders fans predict Stacey will DIE after making a life-threatening mistake

Has she made one mistake too many?

Stacey Fowler has been in a real pickle lately what with Martin going to prison, Arthur being rushed to hospital and now Carmel sticking her nose in every three minutes – it’s no wonder she’s a bit stressed out.

She’s been making quite a few mistakes as well, as Carmel was only too happy to point out.

There was the incident with Arthur and her meds and – in last night’s ep – she forgot she was cooking Lily’s dinner, setting the smoke alarm off.

Stacey ended up taking the batteries out to get it to stop blaring which, fans were quick to point out, was a potentially fatal move.

They took to Twitter to predict Stacey’s actions could lead to her smokey demise.

One viewer tweeted: “Doesn’t matter how annoying it is! NEVER remove a battery from smoke alarm!”

Another advised: “Over cooked the sausages? Blow the smoke away with a tea towel, don’t take the battery out your smoke alarm!”

A third predicted: “So Stacey’s house is gonna burn down?

While another fan said: “Stacey needs to put her battery back in the smoke alarm.”

Has Stacey just risked the lives of her family? And why didn’t Carmel, who is so on the ball with every other mistake Stacey makes, say anything?

We don’t really think there’ll be another fire in Walford so soon after Steven Beale set fire to the restaurant, but it’s probably worth pointing out that it’s not a great idea to take the batteries out of smoke detectors.

Meanwhile it looks like Stacey’s going to have to deal with even more drama after Carmel spotted a load of bruises on little Arthur’s arms.

Fans have already got their own theories about what’s happened to Arthur – and they don’t think it’s Stacey who’s been hurting him.

Everyone’s already been totally suspicious of her daughter, Lily, since the toddler was rushed to hospital after swallowing some of Stace’s bi-polar meds.

Unconvinced that loving mum Stacey would be careless enough to leave her meds in easy reach of an 18-month-old, viewers came to the conclusion that he was deliberately handed them.

But who would be heartless enough to feed a baby dangerous tablets? Well, fan fingers are pointing at Stacey’s eldest daughter and Arthur’s half sister – Lily.

Whaaaaaat? Could EastEnders really have another (potential) child killer in the making now Bobby Beale is safely locked away in a detention centre?

Stacey will face more challenges in the coming weeks but which should she be more worried about? Her battery-less smoke alarm, or her potentially evil daughter?
