EastEnders’ favourite Steve McFadden has got a country singer double – and Harry Reid loves it so much he shared it on social media!
One eagle-eyed Twitter follower found a photo of country singer Tracy Lawrence – and there’s no denying that he shares an uncanny resemblance to a certain Walford resident…
But is Steve McFadden making a career change to become a famous singer instead of an actor?
The fan Tweeted the image to Harry Reid, who plays Phil Mitchell’s on screen son, Ben. He wrote, “Who knew your dad moonlighted as a country singer!?!?”

Harry couldn’t get enough of the resemblance and instantly retweeted it to all his followers… “This is genius!! Steve Mac has a double!!”
With his beardy looks and Mitchell charm, it would be easy for anyone to mistakenly think Phil had given up on life in Albert Square and is now trying his hand at becoming a country and western singer in his retirement.
Harry’s retweet was so popular that he even had members of the EastEnders cast commenting on the likeness.
With Harry soon leaving Walford, he’s set to have a huge Christmas full of jam-packed storylines before he goes.
