Abi Branning’s definitely inherited her dad’s talent for lying and scheming – and she puts it all to good use when she sets her sights on Ian Beale’s business empire.
Abi’s still grieving for Steven, and trying to prepare for life as a single mum now she’s carrying his baby, but that doesn’t stop her trying to get her claws into Beale’s when Ian starts musing about the future.
Ian mentions that Beale’s is a family business and he wants to see it passed down to future generations.
And – ker-ching – Abi spots an opportunity.

Donna warns her mate that now’s not a good time to share her news. But Abi’s determined to spill the beans, so she heads off to find Ian and tell him she’s up the duff.
Ian’s staggered by Ms Branning’s bombshell and decides to share the news with the other grandad-to-be, Max.

Obviously Max is equally shocked – but mostly because he didn’t realise Abi and Steven were having an affair.
