EastEnders SPOILER: Ben Mitchell comes face-to-face with Willmott-Brown

He confronts him over Kathy's rape

Ben Mitchell is about to get a huge shock in EastEnders next week when James Willmott-Brown decides that he wants to meet the ‘grease monkey’ his son, Luke, has been dating.

Kathy Beale was left shaken in last night’s episode of the BBC One soap after coming face-to-face with the man who raped her almost 30 years ago.

She decides that she doesn’t want Ben to get involved or to find out what Willmott-Brown did to her, but it looks as if Ben is going to be dragged into it anyway when she and Phil discover exactly who Luke is.

Kathy begs Phil not to tell their son that Willmott-Brown raped her so instead he gives Luke a very stark warning to stay away from Ben.

But proving he’s a real chip of the old block, Luke manages to twist the situation round to his advantage and cause a rift between Ben and his dad.

Ben angrily confronts Phil about why he’s warned Luke off but Phil keeps his promise to Kathy and doesn’t say anything.

Realising that Ben and Phil’s relationship could be damaged even further, Kathy is forced to admit to her son that his boyfriend’s dad raped her.

Ben is left reeling as Kathy tries to explain to him why she has never told him what she went through.

But Kathy doesn’t realise that Willmott-Brown is prepared to use Ben as a pawn in his twisted game, and try to get under his skin.

Ben demands to know whether or not Luke knew about the rape and Luke presents him with an invitation to Willmott-Brown’s mansion to meet him.

The troubled mechanic thinks about the offer and is unable to resist the opportunity to come face-to-face with his mother’s rapist.

What has Ben planned for the meeting?
