Fi Browning swoops in to save the Carters from Willmott-Brown’s plot

She might have a good side after all...

With the Carters struggling to survive at The Vic thanks to James Willmott-Brown’s dastardly plan, an unlikely hero could be about to swoop in and save them – Fi Browning.

Fi’s been right at the heart of the plot to take The Vic from under the Carters’ noses.

She’s been part of her dad Willmott-Brown’s monster plan to gradually take over the whole of Albert Square for months – though the Carters are still in the dark.

Mick and Linda were told they had to find an impossible sum to keep their pub – or accept an offer from Weyland & Co to buy them out.

But the brave (or is that foolish?) Carters turned down the offer – saying they’d raise the money themselves.

James isn’t impressed with the Carters’ defiance, though, and starts to question daughter Fi’s commitment to his cause.

Daddy’s girl Fi wants to prove her dad wrong to doubt her so she arranges to meet Max and says sorry for her recent flaky behaviour.

With the couple back on, Fi next heads to The Vic and tells the Carters she wants to help them.

Mick and L  – who weren’t keen on Fi to begin with but who have put their suspicions aside (why? WHY?) – are delighted to have some hope at last.

But has Fi really decided she wants to help the family she’s been working with all these months – or is her newfound caring nature just another part of the dastardly plot?

As Fi leaves the pub and goes to find dad James to share some news, it looks as though we were right to be wary.

Are the Carters celebrating too soon?
