EastEnders SPOILER: Ian Beale’s back in Walford and on the rampage!

Things have changed since Ian left - and he's not happy

Ian Beale returns from his visit to New Zealand a changed man. But his new zest for life soon diminishes when he has a huge fight with Masood.

Kathy is bemused when Ian comes back to Walford with a new positive outlook on life – but despite the new Ian trying his best to put his ‘cup half full’ motto into practice, he’s soon clashing with Masood over samosas!

As soon as Ian steps through the front door unannounced, Kathy panics that he’s going to find out they have been selling Masood’s infamous samosas in the fish and chip shop.

It took a while for Mas to persuade Kathy that they should sell his Aunty Mariam’s authentic samosas in the chippy – so imagine how the business venture is going to go down with blinkered Ian.

Kathy races over to Masood to warn him that Ian is back – but before they can get the offending samosas out of the chippy, Ian is on his way over.

Having heard all about the new delicacy that has been going down a storm in his chip shop from Kim Hubbard Fox, Ian marches over to find out what’s going on, clearly on the rampage.

After some serious persuasion from Masood and Kathy, Ian finally comes round to the idea of selling samosas when he realises how much extra cash they could bring him.

But it seems Masood and Ian aren’t exactly on the same page when it comes to who will be managing this new business venture – not to mention where the profits will be going – and before long Masood quits in a rage!

With no one to manage the chippy, Kathy is baffled at Ian’s bad management.

But is this really the end of Walford’s love affair with Aunt Mariam’s samosas?!

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
