EastEnders SPOILER: Love could be in the air for Sonia

Is she moving on with her life?

| Updated:

EastEnders Sonia Fowler has been lacking a bit of love in her life since her return to Walford, but that looks set to change soon.

As Bex’s teacher, the lovely Mr Pryce, moves onto the Square, is romance set to blossom?

Come on, admit it, we’ve all got a bit of a soft spot for the Welsh music and drama teacher.

And we’re not the only ones. We first noticed the sparks flying from Sonia’s side when she met up with Bex’s teacher to discuss her daughter’s progress at school.

She happily told him if she’d had a teacher like him she’d have loved school. Wouldn’t we all, Son, wouldn’t we all?

He’s the one who has been backing Bex, the one who rescued Louise when she was burnt by pouring water over her, and the one who finally saw bullies Alexandra and Madison face justice for what they’d done. He’s a regular Walford hero, isn’t he?

When he appeared on the Square in Monday night’s episode flat hunting, Sonia eagerly told him her uncle, Jack Branning, owned some of the flats on the square so she’d put in a good word for him.

Sonia’s ex-husband Martin Fowler witnessed the exchange and commented that his former missus “always was a bit ambidextrous”, presumably suggesting she likes both men and woman after her last romance with with Tina Carter.

Sonia rubbished the idea she was after her daughter’s teacher, but we were with Martin: it’s so obvious she fancies him!

And it looks like her “good word” with Jack works when Mr Pryce moves into one of the flats next week – quick work!

Sonia’s thrilled to see him in the cafe and clearly excited that she’s going to see a lot more of him around the Square.

She offers her services to show him round and the pair appear to be getting on rather well. Could it lead to more?

And what will Bex have to say about it all? It’s hardly the coolest thing in the world to have your mum romancing your teacher, is it?

After everything she’s been through this year, could this potential new relationship cause Bex even more drama?
