It’s all been a bit quiet on the Max Branning front since Abi’s funeral, but EastEnders fans will be pleased to hear that he’ll be back on screens soon.

Quite where he’s been, we’re not sure, but we assume he’s been trying to get his life back on track following THAT dramatic Christmas and caring for Abi’s baby girl – who he named Abi.
He’s due back on screen later this month – and he’s coming back with a bang!
Obviously we can’t tell you the exact details of what brings him back to the Square, but we promise it’s good.
Jake Wood recently teased that his character has a busy year lined up.
He told Gloucester Live: “He has a big story coming up this year which I’m very excited about as I think it’s something different. Watch this space.”
He added: “I’ve always thought Max can be redeemed. I hope he finds some happiness and stability this year but knowing Max, that might be unlikely.”
We definitely can’t imagine Max choosing a quiet life!
It will be interesting to see how the residents of Walford react to his return as he was public enemy number when he was last seen.
Max was at the centre of a twisted revenge plan and worked with the Willmott-Brown family to take down Albert Square.
But it backfired horribly for Max when he realised the WB clan had double-crossed him.

He didn’t endear himself to anyone when he slept with married Stacey Fowler on Christmas Eve which eventually led to the breakdown of her marriage to Martin.
Will he attempt to reignite things with Stacey on his return? Will he be bringing baby Abi home with him?
And will he finally have changed his clothes?
