EastEnders SPOILER: Mick Carter lured into dangerous trap this Christmas

Newcomer Aidan has got a job for Mick...

Mick Carter finds himself caught up in the middle of some seriously dodgy dealings this Christmas, and it’s all thanks to sinister newcomer Aidan Maguire.

Desperate to make some speedy cash to save his beloved Queen Vic pub, Mick is an easy target when Aidan, played by Hollywood star Patrick Bergin, needs someone to help him with a money-making job.

Aidan is set to arrive in Walford tomorrow night (Monday 27th November) and is quick to catch up with his old cellmate, Phil Mitchell.

Phil is clearly pleased to see his old friend and it soon becomes apparent that Phil has a lot of time for Aidan.

Phil finds it hard to resist when Aidan tells him he has a job he needs help with. But his determination to stick on the straight and narrow fails when he realises Vincent is already in on the job – leaving Phil feeling left out.

After rounding up Phil and Vincent, Aidan sets his sights on Mick to join his crew.

Whatever this job is that they’re all part of, it’s clearly not going to be law-abiding and above board, is it?

Mick and Aidan meet when Mick sees the newcomer mugged outside The Vic and invites him in to asses his injuries.

As Mick patches up Aidan’s hand upstairs at the pub, the pair hit it off straight away and are best buddies before Mick’s even got the first aid kit out.

But when Aidan realises that Mick has some serious financial woes, it doesn’t take long for him to try and rope him into his dodgy job.

With the promise of some serious cash that would make a huge dent in the £50,000 that the Carters now owe James Willmot-Brown and his clan, Mick is serisouly tempted.

But will he take his new friend up on his offer? And with the likes of Phil and Vincent already involved, what exactly does this criminal job entail?

Watch EastEnders on Friday 8th December at 8pm BBC One to find out what Mick decides.
