The teasers suggest that the tension between Sonia and Stacey will boil over at Kathy’s birthday party – and threaten to ruin the party vibe.
There’s a deep swamp of history between Sonia and Martin… Veteran EastEnders viewers will remember that Sonia went into labour with Martin’s daughter, later named Chloe, after a fling.

It was a bit of a shock as Sonia didn’t even know she was pregrant!
Since then, the daughter was given up for adoption, Sonia then abducted her but gave her back, Martin killed Sonia’s boyfriend Jamie in his car, Sonia eventually forgave him and they fell in love and got married.
And that’s all before Martin got involved with a stalker who stabbed him…
