Woody and Whitney were love’s young dream last year, when they were looking forward to a life in Spain together.
But Woody got cold feet and did a runner just as they were about to leave, and poor Whitney finally pieced her broken heart back together and fell for lovely Halfway.
Next week, though, there’s a shock for Whit when Woody rocks up in the Square after so long away.
Funnily enough, his gobby ex-girlfriend isn’t in a big hurry to catch up with Woody and she definitely doesn’t want to hear about what he’s been up to while he was away!
So, in typical EastEnders fashion she tries her hardest to avoid Woody – but that Square’s not massive and he soon tracks her down.
When he eventually catches up with her, Woody turns on the charm and tells Whitney he still loves her. What a cheek!
Is he even telling the truth?
Whitney’s totally unimpressed, though, and stomps off, not wanting to hear anymore from Woody – and who can blame her?!
She can’t stop thinking about her ex-boyf, though so later she suggests they head off into town to talk.
Meanwhile Linda’s trying her best not to interfere – and obviously that lasts about ten minutes, before she decides she’s going to stick her oar in after all!
Worried that Whitney’s going to ruin her new romance with Halfway, L heads off to speak to Whitney and persuade her that Woody’s bad news (erm, think Whit could have worked that one out on her own, Linda!).
While all this is going on, Woody’s got his eye on the newly reopened E20 where there’s a bar manager job going.
