You’d be forgiven for thinking that being part of one of the biggest shows on TV means your life is full of glitz and glamour, but former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa has revealed that it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
In her latest instalment of Jacqueline’s World – her freshly-launched YouTube channel where she posts videos about what she’s been up to, including documenting her second pregnancy – Jacqueline has shared a little insight into what it is like to be a soap star.
While talking to her cousin Ciara, a footballer for Northern Ireland, along with their friend Laura, Jacqueline revealed that she would constantly be letting friends and family down due to her filming commitments.
The trio were talking about the sacrifices lots of people have to make in order to have a successful career, and Jacqueline told her fans: “When I was at EastEnders I’d constantly be letting people down.

“Oh, I can’t come to your wedding or your child’s christening because I’m filming on a Saturday.”
But the actress was quick to point out that she wasn’t complaining… “But that’s just the way it is. It’s life.”
Despite her days of playing Walford alter ego Lauren Branning now being behind her, that doesn’t mean the expectant mum is putting her feet up before the birth of her second child.
Not only does she already have three-year-old daughter Ella with husband Dan Osborne, but the family have also just got a new addition to their family in the form of a gorgeous Husky pup called Storm.
