EastEnders fans were left feeling frustrated by the ending of tonight’s episode, which left them totally confused as to what was going on with Bobby Beale.
Max Branning, who was visiting Jane Beale in hospital, showed her a video of her murderous son on his phone.
The short clip appeared to show Bobby waking up in bed and demanding that whoever was filming him ‘get that thing out of my face.’
Max was with Jane – again – trying to blackmail her into leaving Albert Square without her husband Ian because – according to eccentric Bond baddie James Willmott-Brown – it was what Nemesis required.
Er, okaaaaaaaaaaay then.
Jane looked terrified at seeing Bobby on-screen, and not just because the lad once tried to off her with a golf club.
Max promised that no harm would come to the Bobster as long as Jane did what he asked – and left Ian.
But the whole scene just left everyone confused. Had Max and the Willmott-Brown crew KIDNAPPED Bobby from his detention centre somehow?
Do they have a mole in that pie (fairly sure that’s the right saying) as well? Huh?
Meanwhile, Kathy Beale got well and truly on her high horse when Ian had to nerve to tell her he would be moving away from London with Jane.
‘It’s not like you won’t be able to visit,’ he kindly pleaded with her, somehow managing to stop himself adding: “You know, like I couldn’t visit you for the TEN YEARS I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!”
And Ben and Luke reunited – but only because JWB wants them to.
Luke confessed to Ben that he wasn’t the man he thought he was because he’d spent two years in prison for fraud.
Ben: “Hold my drink.”
Elsewhere Stacey finally decided to visit the baby – after telling Martin she wouldn’t.
Amidst all this drama, viewers were most preoccupied with how Stacey, who was seemingly at death’s door last night, had made such a miraculous recovery…
