Emmerdale had a major blunder on Good Friday after appearing to forget it was a Bank Holiday.
Vet Vanessa Woodfield has been worried all week about her impending hearing at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons that will decide her future.
Viewers know how Gabby Thomas and Liv Flaherty stole a vial of ketamine from Vanessa’s bag before spiking Lisa Dingle’s drink accidentally.
Their actions caused Lisa to have a devastating heart attack.
She later broke the Dingle Code and called the police on Liv after she confessed, but the investigation into how they got the drugs had already begun.

When the inspector did arrive, luckily, he was one of Paddy Kirk’s old friends and it seemed to go well.
Until he accidentally insulted his wife and Vanessa’s luck disappeared.
She was suspended at the hearing for a year and will now work as an administrator instead of a vet.
But there was a slight error in the storyline, as Vanessa’s hearing couldn’t have taken place with the RCVS being shut on bank holidays.
One eagle-eyed viewer took to DS Forums and wrote: “Very strange how Vanessa had a meeting about the missing drugs at the Head Office of the RCVS in London.
“According to their website they are open 9.15 till 5 Monday To Friday excluding Public Holidays so they would not have been open on Good Friday anyway.

“Come on scriptwriters…use a bit if initiative when it is a Bank Holiday.”
Another added: “They don’t even have the excuse that it wasn’t Good Friday in the show’s reality as a big part of the episode was centered around them going to the church service.”
