That scheming scoundrel Robert Sugden will sink lower than a snake’s belly next week when he puts a hit on his ex-wife, Chrissie White – all in the name of getting his mucky mitts on Home Farm.
Robert has Rebecca and Lawrence eating out of the palm of his hand, but Chrissie starts to become suspicious of Rob’s investor, Kath.

And quite rightly so because – as we all know – Kath is a big old FAKE.
Chrissie gets a bit detective and soon notices that there’s no mention of Kath’s company RTB online or, er, anywhere.
Chrissie raises the issue in a meeting but is stunned when Kath takes offence at having her credentials called into question and flounces off, but not before pulling out of the deal.
Behind the scenes, Robert is still scheming and begins to put a plan into action – one that could potentially cost his ex-wife her life.
He teams up with Chrissie’s vengeful uncle, Tim (the one she tried to snog, remember?), asking him to complete one final job for him. Any guesses as to what it could be yet?
As Chrissie and Rebecca try to get Kath back onside, Kath drops her keys on the road and Chrissie bends down to retrieve them for her.
Little does she realise that the whole thing is part of Robert’s dastardly plan, and while she’s down getting the keys, a car engine begins to rev.
Uncle Tim’s car then heads straight for Chrissie, who’s stood in the middle of the street. The idea is that Robert will swoop in and save her at the last minute, but will Robert’s takeover plan really become deadly?
Emmerdale’s big boss, Iain McLeod, recently spoke to Metro.co.uk about Robert’s current situation and how it will spell the end for Lawrence, Chrissie and Lachlan’s time at Home Farm.
He said: “The exit storyline emerges from what Robert is doing now on screen – it will be big, dramatic and hopefully quite surprising and out of the blue.
“It’s part of an ultimate redemption story for Robert where he feels like he has hit rock bottom in terms of the dastardly things he has done over the years. He is determined to start to live and deal with things a bit differently.”
