Emmerdale fans divided over who broke the Dingle code and called the police on Liv Flaherty

It's not the Dingle way

Emmerdale fans were left divided last night over which member of the Dingle family called the police on Liv Flaherty.

The troublesome teen was arrested after confessing to Lisa Dingle that it was her who slipped the ketamine into her drink, not Gabby Thomas.

Gabby has been taking the blame for Lisa getting accidentally spiked and ending up in hospital after suffering a heart attack.

She’d been plotting to spike Daz Spencer’s drink with the drug she stole from vet Vanessa Woodfield’s bag, but Lisa accidentally picked up the spiked drink and downed it.

The police arrived at The Mill and arrested the schoolgirl for theft and spiking the drink that left Lisa’s life hanging in the balance.

Liv’s brother, Aaron Dingle, was outraged that someone in the family had called the cops, grassing up one of their own.

But fans were divided over who put the call in.

Lisa was seen at the end of the episode holding a police card, leading many viewers to believe it was her.

They took to Twitter, furious that Lisa could do such a thing.

“I lost all my respect for Lisa Dingle #Emmerdale,” tweeted one disappointed fan.

Another ranted: “Lisa shouldn’t have called the police on liv. she was happy protecting belle from manslaughter, and anyway, did liv not make a huge contribution to paying for belle’s treatment, like with the money she inherited from gordon??”

And a third added: “I know Lisa did the right thing so why am I mad at her for breaking the Dingle code?”

But not everyone was convinced that it was actually Lisa who told the police about Liv – other viewers think Belle or even Bernice did the deed.

“Maybe Lisa didn’t call the police. She was considering it and her phone was beside her. It could’ve been somebody who overheard Liv,” suggested one soap watcher.

“Honestly think it wasn’t Lisa. That scene at the end was to fool everyone. Think it was Belle who dobbed Liv in,” another added.

Whoever put the call in, it looks like both Liv and Gabby will be in hot water in coming episodes.
