Emmerdale fans have voiced their concerns for Charity’s son, Noah Dingle, as it looks like new village villain, Joseph Tate, could target the youngster as part of his twisted revenge plan.

Last week Joe’s butler/friend/right-hand man Graham Foster returned to Home Farm for one last try at getting the newcomer, played by Ned Porteous, to drop his vendetta against Charity Dingle.

When Joe asked him what he wanted him to do, Graham told him to get the Dingles’ Wishing Well Cottage – which Joe had previously bulldozed – rebuilt, let Debbie and her kids move back into Jacob’s Fold and stay away from the family.

But Joe wasn’t letting things go so easily and told Graham he had every intention of getting to know Noah – Charity’s son with Joe’s dad, Chris Tate.

He said: “He’s my brother and I want to get to know him.”

This startling statement came after Joe refused to accept Noah as his brother to Charity, and then almost killing him when Wishing Well Cottage was torn down.

So it’s understandable why viewers are more than a little suspicious about Joe’s reason for befriending Noah.

“Ooh Joe wants to get to know Noah. Why does it feel like it’s to get back at the Dingles somehow #emmerdale,” wondered one fan, while another said: “FFS Tom/Joseph now going for Noah???” with a series of scared face emojis.

“Omg does Joe really think Charity is going to let him ANYWHERE near Noah. #Emmerdale,” said a third and a fourth added: “Surprised that Noah was OK with Joseph after all that he did but I can’t wait for a proper interaction.”

We don’t think it will take a lot for Joe to dazzle Noah. He’s got the big house, the piles of money and the mystery of being his long-lost brother.
