Emmerdale’s Megan and Charity’s revenge plot against Frank risks collapse

It looks like things are starting to unravel for the women

| Updated:

Emmerdale’s Megan Macey and Charity Dingle think they have Frank Clayton exactly where they want him as they continue their revenge plot.

But it could all be about to come crashing down around them as it looks like Frank’s about to bust them.

The story so far is that Frank thinks Megan has forgiven him for his indiscretion with Charity, and the couple are back on track.

The clueless conman has no idea he’s the one being conned as they push ahead with their business venture: selling fake holiday homes, which Frank will ultimately take the rap for when the police find out it’s a scam. And with a criminal record already it’ll be straight back to prison for him.

Charity wanted in on the scheme when she discovered what Megan was up to, but Megan’s already starting to get cold feet as Frank continues his charm offensive.

And Frank might be about to blow the whole thing anyway when he starts tapping up the locals to buy a time share.

Scamming their friends and neighbours was not at all what Megan and Charity had in mind so as they watch Frank get to work on unsuspecting Marlon, panic sets in.

Marlon is very tempted by the idea of having somewhere for him, April, and Leo to escape to the sunshine, but after realising his Woolpack wages won’t quite cover the cost, he has to decline the offer. Phew, bullet dodged.

But then Frank turns his attentions to a villager far more affluent and targets Rishi Sharma for the deal.

Megan’s really not happy about her former father-in-law, and her daughter’s grandad, being drawn into the plot so has to do some quick thinking. She tells Frank they can’t sell to anyone at the moment as there’s a problem with the build.

Suggesting they head out to Spain to look into it, will it be enough to put Frank off, or will he start to smell a rat?

A show insider told Inside Soap: “Frank should be able to spot a scam a mile off, but he’s so focusing on making this new business venture work, and proving himself to Megan, that he hasn’t realised her real game.”

Charity on the other hand isn’t happy about the latest development in the plan and thinks Megan is still leaning towards forgiving Frank and getting hitched.

Meanwhile, Frank spots a beach wedding brochure and starts to form a plan, will a big romantic proposal be enough to make Megan decide forgiveness is the way forward and stop the scheme?

And just how will Charity respond to that? Are her feelings towards Megan purely about business?
