Vanessa is shocked to discover that Charity gave birth to a baby boy during her time being groomed and raped by evil DI Bails but she wants to help.
Secretly she and Harriet head to the hospital to find out more about the baby, but will their interfering cause more pain for Charity in the end?
Emmerdale viewers were left heartbroken when Charity recently confessed to Harriet that she’d had a son who’d died.
Earlier this year Charity revealed to Vanessa that she had kept a dark secret hidden for all her adult life. In tears she explained how Bails had taken her in off the streets when she was a troubled 14-year-old.
Charity had been thrown out by her strict father after falling pregnant at just 13 and giving birth to a baby girl – Debbie. Desperate, she turned to prostitution to make money.
After being arrested by Bails, teenage Charity was pleased when he offered her a place to stay. But – as she told Vanessa – on her first night there he raped her.
Bails would then lock her in his flat so she was a prisoner. He regularly subjected her to beatings and rape until she managed to escape one day by stealing his car.

Since her tragic revelation Vanessa has urged Charity to go to the police because Bails is an evil sexual predator. Charity has refused so far, fearing she won’t be believed.
But following an outburst at a conference Bails was speaking at, Harriet convinced Charity to report Bails. She was left gutted when an officer told her that without any physical evidence, it was unlikely any charges would be brought to the pervy DI.
Harriet suggested that Charity should try to find her son as the DNA might help to nail Bails, it was then that Charity revealed the baby had died.
Emmerdale will also be airing a special flashback episode which will see Charity revisit her tragic past this week.
