Emmerdale viewers are totally intrigued by Joe Tate’s mysterious sidekick Graham Foster and desperate to know more about his past.
And now it’s been revealed we won’t have too long to wait to find out more. Phew!
In a preview of spring storylines in the Yorkshire soap, metro.co.uk has revealed that fans will discover more about what’s gone on in Graham’s life to make the dark, brooding chap the way he is.
Since Graham arrived on the scene, fans have been desperately trying to work out what his story is. Theories have ranged from Graham being the man who killed Joe’s mum, to Graham being acid attacker Simon’s dad.
Some fans have even shared the bonkers idea that Graham’s dead – he just doesn’t know it.
Thankfully, we’re going to find out more very soon when some – not all, unfortunately – of the gaps are filled in.
But it seems that won’t be the end of the mystery as Graham is faced with a big dilemma: Should he support Joe as he sets about tormenting Debbie even further, or should he take him on?
“There’s a lot about Graham that we don’t know but after seeing how he handled the acid attack it soon became clear that there are many layers to him,” a show insider told metro.co.uk.
“I think the audience won’t be disappointed when they find out his dark secret.”
Sounds intriguing!

Graham won the fans’ hearts when he leapt into action after Ross was attacked. And speculation was rife that because he had the skills to deal with the attack, that meant he was an ex-military man, or even a former spy!
Joe revealed that his sidekick has had a troubled past when the pair argued a few weeks ago.

That insight left viewers wondering if Joe had somehow rescued Graham from a difficult situation. But Mr Tate seems to need Graham just as much as Graham needs him…
