He'll do anything to protect Joe Tate...

Man of mystery Graham Foster has already proved that he’ll do anything to protect his employer Joe Tate.

But, does that include murder?

Last night (Thursday 24 May), we saw Graham take charge after a tense hostage situation between Joe and a vengeful Ross Barton resulted in Debbie Dingle getting shot.

At first, Graham was outmanoeuvred during the evening’s dramatic double bill when Ross stormed Home Farm and knocked him unconscious.

After tying Graham up, Ross lay in wait for Joe to return so he could confront him… Trusty Graham woke up just in time to jump between Joe’s face and a pointed gun…

Only for the gun to go off and hit Debbie as she unexpectedly walked through the door.

A shocked Ross and Joe then looked on as Graham then did what he does best –  cleaned up somebody else’s mess.

The former army man mopped up the blood, patched up Debbie’s wound and devised a cover story about a burglary in order to protect those present from any repercussions.

As Joe and Ross drove Debbie to the hospital, Graham was seen with drug dealer Connor, having clearly ‘borrowed’ Ross’s phone to arrange a meet.

“You and me are going to have a conversation,” he said in his best James Bond don’t-mess-with-me voice.

And that was the last we saw of Graham and low-life Connor…

Viewers know that Connor is not a man to be messed with, after all he did punch Debbie in the face recently.

But has he met his match in Graham, who is prepared to take drastic action to take the heat off Joe?

One fan believes Connor is no more, writing: “Graham is like #Emmerdale’s problem solver. I assume he’s also gotten rid of Connor.”

Another said: “When will Ross find out and what will he do? In other news, if anyone can sort out Connor, it’s Graham….”

A third agreed, saying: “Graham having a “discussion” with Connor . . . why do I have the feeling we may not be seeing Connor anytime soon?”

One thing is for sure… Girl-thumping, drug-dealer Connor certainly won’t be missed!
