While most people would be on their knees praying for a family member to come out of a coma, Lachlan White is like a cat on a hot tin roof hoping the opposite happens.
He is terrified that his aunt, Rebecca, will wake up – and with no brain damage.
Not too surprising though, given she is the only other living person who witnessed him cause the car crash that killed Chrissie and Lawrence.
So, he’s an accidental killer. But tonight he may well cross even further onto the dark side and become a MURDERER.
The spoilt brat/troubled teen (delete according to your personal stance!) will apparently stop at nothing to protect his secret and attempts to take poor Rebecca’s life.
This comes at the end of a very bad day indeed, after he has buried his mum and grandfather.
Grief – and guilt – threaten to overwhelm him as he stands up to deliver the eulogy at their funeral.

As if that’s not enough to reduce him to a crumbling wreck, he also discovers that Gerry’s mobile phone has been fixed.
There is an incredibly incriminating voicemail on there – you may recall that Lachlan called his pal just before he took hold of his mum’s steering wheel, leading to the epic smash.
If Gerry picks up that message before Lachlan can delete it, the game’s up.
But the most dastardly deed to protect himself comes with the threat Rebecca will wake up.

He slips into the hospital and readies himself to pull out the tubes on her life support. Will he pull the plug on her or have a sudden attack of conscience/be interrupted?
