So Rebecca White will wake from her coma in tonight’s Emmerdale – but there’s no one more terrified about what she might remember from that fateful day of the crash than Lachlan White.
As Rebecca comes round from the coma she has been in for a month, Lachlan gives a huge sign of relief when it appears she doesn’t remember anything from the day her sister and dad died.
Having managed to keep the fact that the crash was all his fault hidden so far, Lachlan knows that Rebecca is the one person who could expose him as the killer that he is.

But while she doesn’t remember anything initially, this week sees Rebecca start to piece together the events of that tragic day – could Lachlan’s time be running out?
Lachlan’s relief is certainly set to be short-lived when Rebecca wakes up after nodding off to sleep, it is appears her memory might have started to refresh itself…
Rebecca suddenly remembers what happened the day of the crash and starts shouting at her nephew that she knows what he did.
But will a desperate Lachlan be able to persuade her that this is just her mind playing tricks on her?
Robert Sugden and Lachlan are shocked when they discover Rebecca has discharged herself from hospital, and set off to find her.
They finally track her down at Home Farm, where she is trying to remind herself of the events that lead up to the devastating crash that killed half her family.
As the pair try to persuade the new mum to get back to hospital where she belongs, Lachlan is on tenterhooks as Rebecca tries to put everything straight in her mind.
