Emmerdale fans were overjoyed when scenes showed Robert Sugden getting one over on Joseph Tate last week.
They cheered when it was revealed Jimmy King wasn’t as gullible as Joe thought him to be and was instead working against the newcomer with Robert played by Ryan Hawley.
And there’s much more Joe v. Robert fun to come this week too when Joe makes the mistake of trying to throw his weight around at the haulage company.

In tonight’s episode Joe – played by Ned Porteous – will barge his way into Robert’s office and slam a copy of his new contract on his rival’s desk.
“You’re supposed to knock,” Robert tells Joe in a preview clip.
“Jimmy’s sold me his half of the business,” a smug Joe tells him.
While Robert laughs Joe’s claim off the millionaire businessman says: “Just read the contract. And while we’re at it we’re taking one of the trucks out for a spin.”
He then tells Robert that he’s changed the name to Tate Haulage and Sons while an enraged Robert shouts “you can’t do this!” at him and Noah Dingle as they head off with the keys to a truck.
Fuming Robert says that Jimmy wouldn’t do this to him while Joe tells him that everyone has their price before hopping in one of the lorries with Noah.

Robert watches on, gobsmacked, but quickly shows he’s still one step ahead of Joe when he heads back into the office smiling and picks up the phone and says: “Hello is this Hotten police station?”
What’s Robert got up his sleeve now?
And will it be enough to put Joe Tate firmly back in his place?
