Charity Dingle recently revealed to lover Vanessa that Bails had beaten, raped and held her prisoner when she was a teenager.
A horrified Vanessa urged Charity to tell the police, but the landlady refused because she didn’t think anyone would believe her word over a detective inspector’s.
Vanessa took matters into her own hands and called the police herself to report the historic crime, but had to withdraw her accusations when Charity flipped out.
Speaking to The Sun, Michelle revealed: “What we’ve got to remember at this stage is her sister is in the mix, so it’s not just about protecting Charity her girlfriend, it’s about looking after her very vulnerable and naive little sister.
“She’ll do anything she can to stop him.”
Vanessa’s half-sister, Tracy Metcalfe, has been working closely with Bails to get perverted Phil Webb – who tried to blackmail her into sleeping with him – sent to prison.
So Vanessa is seriously worried about two of the people she loves most and Michelle’s words suggest that her character will go to any lengths to stop this vile man.
Michelle also spoke out about how Vanessa took on evil Pierce Harris who raped her best friend Rhona Goskirk, so she feels she can take on Bails as well.
