The weather has been playing havoc with one of the nation’s favourite soaps again…
The cast and crew of Emmerdale have been battling freezing conditions this week to bring ITV viewers what they really want – more juicy storylines!
But the inclement weather has caused more scheduling disruption – thanks to another heavy snowfall in the area.

The ITV soap has already been forced to stop filming once this year due to snowy weather conditions affecting Leeds and most of the country.

And this week, the white stuff has caused yet more chaos, with several of the cast and crew sharing wintry photos on Twitter.
Nicola Wheeler, who plays Nicola King in the ITV soap, didn’t seem too happy when she shared a snowy photo and lamented: “It’s pretty …. IN DECEMBER OR JANUARY….do you remember that year we had a heat wave in March? Can we have that again please? Weather gods are you listening???”

Actor Nick Miles, aka Jimmy King, joked: “Our Easter scenes are going to look so, um, festive?”
Michelle Hardwick, better known as Vanessa Woodfield, shared another beautiful snow scene alongside the message: “Are you actually kidding me??? #pestfromthewest.”

Fans were quick to realise that scenes filmed in the snow are due to air in April – not known for its snow!
One said: “After today’s filming in @emmerdale! 6 weeks from now how good would it be to see Vanessa and Charity having a snow ball fight with Noah Moses and Johnny.”

Another commented: “In about six weeks time Emmerdale is going to be 4 feet under snow when we are starting to walk around wearing T-shirts 🙂 #Emmerdale.”

Last week, both Emmerdale and Coronation Street were thrown into chaos due to the ‘Beast from the East’.
Filming was disrupted and some cast members were even stranded!
