Emmerdale actor Michael Parr has suggested he could be quitting the Dales for the West End, during a chat with Lorraine.
The soap star appeared on the show to discuss his troubled character’s suicide attempt in tonight’s episode of the soap, after Ross was seen driving off with whisky and pills last night.
Lorraine shared a clip of Michael performing in musical theatre classic Les Miserable several years ago and exclaimed: “You can sing!”
He replied that he could imagine returning to the stage.
“I started in musicals, I wouldn’t mind going back to it,” the talented 31-year-old revealed.
“I don’t know if I’ve got what it takes to maybe do the West End, but maybe a few some singing lessons and definitely some dance lessons – I could do with some of those…

“I’d like to do it.”
And it could be sooner, rather than later, as when Lorraine asked if he was staying on the Yorkshire soap, he teased: “For now.”
The breakfast show also showed a clip of Ross’s brother Pete discovering the booze and pills paraphernalia in his abandoned car, before finding his brother barely conscious.
Ross has been struggling ever since he had acid thrown his face but hit rock bottom after a woman chatted him up for a dare last night.
