Emmerdale fans have been waiting patiently for the wedding of the year and they might not have to wait much longer, we’re told.
In stark contrast to the nuptials of Brenda and Bob earlier this month (the less said about THAT the better), the union of Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle is hopefully going to be the celebration of the year.
Watch out Meghan and Harry, you’re going to have some stiff competition!
Today (Thursday 24 May), Ryan Hawley has let slip a nugget of juicy information about the forthcoming wedding – and fans won’t be disappointed.
Appearing on This Morning, Ryan was put on the spot when Philip Schofield asked him if ITV viewers will ever see a Robron wedding.

Ryan, who plays Robert, replied: “I’ve just seen something that’s coming up in the next bunch of scripts and that kind of gives an answer to that question.
“I’m not gonna say whether it is or it isn’t gonna happen, but what happens in that next batch of scripts is certainly an indicator…”
Oh, Ryan, you tease!
While Ryan was clearly under orders not to give anything away, scriptwriter Sharon Marshall joked that they would likely be lynched if Robron didn’t get married!

Some fans believed the departure of show boss Iain MacLeod meant that the wedding might not go ahead.
So at least we know now that it DOES – and in the next few months if Ryan has already received the scripts!
Late summer wedding, anyone?
This will be the second wedding for Robert and Aaron.
In February 2017, Robert planned a surprise wedding for them in the Woolpack, just before Aaron was due to start a prison sentence for assaulting Kasim Sabet.
Robert hoped to make them “a proper family”.
But, in true soap opera style, things didn’t go to plan when the police stormed the pub to arrest Faith Dingle for murder.
