Fans of Love Island have called for the show’s original celebrity version to be brought back.
Former Celebrity Love Island host Kelly Brook stirred up some serious nostalgia when she shared a series of throwback snaps from her time on show.
Kelly, who co-hosted the series with comedian Patrick Kielty between 2005 and 2006, put up a collage of pics from their presenting days in picturesque Fiji, where the show used to be filmed.
Reminiscing, the model captioned her post with: “Baby Brookie back in 2005 as Host of the First Series of Celebrity Love Island on @itv 🏝 it’s so great to see how its evolved over the years and can’t wait to watch tonight @itv2 @loveisland.”
Fans marvelled at how 39-year-old Kelly hasn’t aged in nearly 15 years and others exclaimed that they would love the original celebrity version to make a comeback.
One fan wrote: “I didn’t know you hosted celeb love island before. Wow, you haven’t changed much either. Would love a celeb version now.”
A second commented: “I would love another celebrity one. It was the best!”
Another of her follower’s added: “I wish that programme would come back!!! 💛💛💛 @itv @loveisland @iamkb.”
Others reminisced on the star-filled series of the past.
