The Greatest Dancer fans have pointed out a rather embarrassing blooper from Saturday’s launch, as the show’s receptionist didn’t have her laptop switched on when she checked in contestants at the front desk!
The awkward moment was highlighted by viewers as the show got underway, with one writing: “An hour in and she hasn’t switched her laptop on yet… #GreatestDancer #TheGreatestDancer”.

One viewer questioned: “So is the receptionist’s laptop just on a really low light or not on at all?? 🤔”.
While a fourth added: “HER LAPTOP ISN’T EVEN ON!?🤦🏾♀️ Stop it.”

Meanwhile, others wondered if receptionist Amelia Wilson was even the real deal.
I think that fake receptionist should turn her fake laptop on. She won’t get much fake receptioning done otherwise #GreatestDancer

A lot of talk. Not a lot of dancing.

It comes as reports revealed that the new BBC show only had 14 minutes of dancing throughout the 70-minute programme.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the only backlash the show received on its debut night.
Some weren’t impressed, with critical viewers branding it “awful”, while singer Cheryl’s return to TV divided opinion.
