A statement revealed that filming has recently begun on the ninth series of the ensemble drama.
Written and created by Mike Bullen, the show stars James Nesbitt, Hermione Norris, Robert Bathurst, Fay Ripley and John Thomson as Adam, Karen, David, Jenny and Pete.
This time, though, new guest stars include Sunetra, Line of Duty’s Claire Keelan, and Gemma Jones, who played Aunt Anne Lister in Gentleman Jack.

The ninth series finds Adam and Karen juggling their new relationship with the domestic chaos of a blended family…
But just as they appear to have cracked it, an unexpected visitor tips the balance.
And David isn’t exactly making life any easier, as he’s still very much at odds with his former best friend.
Caught in the middle of their feud is a fed-up Pete, whose wife Jenny is just finishing her cancer treatment.
The new six-part series will film until December and will be broadcast in the New Year.
It’s not yet known what role Sunetra will play, but with a CV as varied as hers, we’re sure she’ll be a welcome addition to the cast.
Sunetra was paired with Brendan Cole during her time on Strictly, and they survived until week 10.
The Liverpool-born actress had her first taste of fame in 1988 when she was cast as Nisha Batra in C4’s serial drama, Brookside.
Sunetra then starred in the ITV drama London Bridge, before playing man-eating nurse Anji Mittel in No Angels.
She later landed the biggest role of her career as Zoe Hanna in Casualty.
