Just weeks after James Argent wooed Gemma Collins in front of her store the couple appear to already be on the rocks.
The will they/won’t they TOWIE lovebirds seemed to finally be ready to make things work, after James asked Gemma to officially be his girlfriend – with the aid of a mariachi band.

He’d gone to the trouble of talking to Gemma’s mum to get her blessing, and acknowledging he’d been too casual about their relationship in the past.
In the weeks since their romantic moment, Gemma and Arg have seemed to be getting on splendidly – they’ve even been talking about how much they’d like to have kids together.
But a clip from the next episode seems to suggest that the honeymoon period is over, with Gemma complaining to fellow cast mates Chloe Sims and Bobby Norris.
She says that she feels she’s been giving more to the relationship than she was getting out of it.
“I think for a very long time I’ve been in this love bubble of giving James my everything,” she admits.
“I’m a busy woman, but everything stops for James.”
She goes on to say that he seemed set on running away from their problems.
“We had a little bit of an argument, and he went to Spain and said he wasn’t going to speak to me for four days,” she reveals.
“I mean, I’ve got a boyfriend I never see.”

Chloe no doubt spoke for all TOWIE fans when she said: “This is not giving me fairytale vibes.”
But it might not be time to lose hope entirely – relationships aren’t fairytales, after all.
Gemma and Arg might not have quite worked out the kinks and wrinkles of being a proper couple, but that’s no reason to give up… just yet!
