Ghosts returned for a new series on BBC One last night and viewers had to binge-watch the entire series in a single sitting.
Fans of the popular sitcom, which stars Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe, were overjoyed to have it back on their screens last night (Monday, September 21).
The Beeb decided to add all six new episodes to iPlayer and fans loved it so much, they had to ditch plans for a good night’s sleep so they could watch the whole series.

In Ghosts, Alison (Charlotte Ritchie) and Mike (Kiell Smith-Bynoe) want to find a balanced routine with the spirits who live at Button House.
The first episode saw them decide on renting the property out for events to fund the renovation work needed to turn it into a hotel and spa.
After a paranormal photo of Button House went viral and put their initial plan at risk, they instead decided to have their ghostly housemates use their talents to create an authentic haunted-house experience.
Star Charlotte Ritchie calls Ghosts ‘uniting’
Speaking ahead of the new series airing, star Charlotte spoke about how it feels “uniting” as it can be enjoyed “on different levels” by viewers of different ages and backgrounds.
She said: “I adored filming the first series, it is the absolute dream job; nice people, funny scripts, lovely crew so I was excited to be returning for series two and see everyone I hadn’t seen for a year.

“I loved this comedy from the moment I read it, so I felt like whatever happened, I thought it was a great show but I was so relieved and chuffed when so many people liked it but also particularly people with so many different comic sensibilities.
“Its popularity amongst such varied ages is an absolute dream because lots of people have said how nice it is to have a show they can watch with their kids and they can all enjoy it on different levels, which is wonderful because it feels very uniting.”
