In Gino D’Acampo news, the star could lose multiple lucrative contracts amid his “inappropriate behaviour” scandal.
The Italian TV star is alleged to have made “dozens” of “unacceptable” and “horrendous” comments to colleagues over the years.
Gino D’Acampo news – Italian chef’s shows ‘dropped’
As the allegations have come to light, ITV is said to have taken action, reportedly removing the Gino-led show Family Fortunes from the schedule.
Gino has hosted the hit game show since 2020. The show was meant to air tonight on ITV2 (Friday, February 7). However, it’s been replaced by Wheel of Fortune. The same thing has happened with Monday’s ITV2 schedule (February 10).
The new series of Family Fortunes, which was meant to air in early 2025, has reportedly been canned in the wake of the allegations.
ITV has also opted to remove two episodes of Gino’s Italy: Secrets of the South from schedules. They were meant to air on ITVBe between 6pm and 7pm on Sunday (February 9). They have been replaced by Abbey Clancy: Celebrity Homes.
Following ITV’s scheduling shake-up, Gino won’t be appearing on TV for at least the next 10 days. However, his shows remain on ITVX.
“He’s in a lot of trouble and ITV doesn’t want to be in a BBC situation [with Gregg Wallace] or have a repeat of Schofield so they are covering all bases,” an insider told the MailOnline today.
“This is all about the MasterChef effect. ITV has looked at what is happening over at the BBC and is worried,” the source continued.
“If they are easing Gino out, it does reduce the chances of them having commissioned a show that they may have to can or cancel mid-way through a series. MasterChef has had to cancel two expensive Christmas specials. The Beeb will be regretting not acting sooner.”
ED! has contacted ITV for comment.

Contracts Gino could lose
Should ITV part ways with Gino, the Italian chef could be set to lose out on lucrative contracts that made him one of the most popular faces on telly over the last 15 years.
Gino has been the host of Family Fortunes since 2020, however, should ITV cut ties, he will lose this megabucks gig.
The star also fronted his own cooking show, Gino’s Italy, which has run in various guises since 2013.
Last year, it was reported that Gino had been quietly dropped from his role in Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip, another money-spinner, which has run since 2018. The hugely popular show saw him travel around the world, trying out cuisines and cooking alongside Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix.
Last year also saw him star alongside Fred in Gino & Fred: Emission Impossible. A second season surely looks unlikely at the moment.
Gino is also a regular fixture on This Morning. However, it’s highly unlikely he will be seen again in the show’s kitchen, should ITV end its relationship with him, a move which would bring that lucrative job to an end.
The star also released a book last year – Gino’s Air Fryer Cookbook – which was published by Bloomsbury. It remains to be seen whether he has any other books in the pipeline, or how it will continue to sell.
Gino is reportedly worth £7.2 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Gino D’Acampo news: Star embroiled in ‘inappropriate behaviour scandal’
This week, an ITV investigation found that there were several claims of Gino’s “distressing” treatment of colleagues over a 12-year period.
One woman has claimed that Gino made inappropriate sexual comments towards her in 2011. She alleged that Gino, 48, said he’d “like to turn me over and [bleep] me up the [bleep] against the kitchen counter”.
“He did not think that was an inappropriate thing to say to me,” the woman alleged.
Another woman has claimed that Gino was “aggressive” during filming of Gino’s Italian Express.
“He opened the door in his boxer shorts, nothing else. And jumped on the bed and was sort of – leg up. We had to sort of sit there facing him and he made, you know, reference to his [bleep], basically saying: ‘Oh, don’t worry, it’s only small,’ and sort of flicking it,” she alleged.
“I think he feels he’s in a position of power and he can say and do what he wants. I see it all as quite aggressive, really,” she then added.
A third woman alleged that in 2019, Gino told a runner: “I was present when Gino said to the runner: ‘If you don’t get me a Cornetto I will [bleep] your girlfriend.'”
Gino denies allegations
Another allegation claims that in 2018, Gino made a remark about a female colleague’s breasts. He allegedly described them as being “perfect, they’re like a mouthful”.
Gino has “firmly denied” all allegations, branding them “deeply unsettling”.
The star released a statement hitting back at the allegations today (Friday, February 7).
“I have been told by ITN news that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over 10 years ago,” he said.
He then continued, saying: “I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone. This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.”
