GMB host Piers Morgan was scolded by a couple who broke their village’s internet for 18 months by streaming too much of the show.
The Welsh couple, Eliane and Alun, have been married for 44 years, and they chatted with Piers and Susanna Reid on Wednesday.
Elaine spent the entire interview distracting herself with crochet, while Alun refused to speak to Piers altogether initially.
What did the couple say to Piers Morgan on GMB?
Elaine and Alun told off Piers for always talking over Susanna.
“He doesn’t want to talk to you,” Elaine told Piers.
“Why do you like watching me, Elaine?” Piers asked.
Elaine responded: “You make me laugh, and cross, when you don’t let Susanna talk!”
Susanna was clearly loving Alun’s cheeky behaviour, and the whole studio erupted into laughter.
What did GMB viewers say?
Viewers rushed to social media to praise the couple and urge ITV to invite them back onto the show.
“Elaine and Alan were hilarious on #GMB, nice to have some humour in the morning!” said one happy viewer.
Another tweeted: “Brilliant! Elaine & Alan – secret to a happy marriage: crochet him to the sofa!
“Send @piersmorgan to Elaine for a week or two and she’ll sort him out @susannareid100!”

After jokingly asking if her nightmares came after she started working with him, he got serious in a hurry.
“I remember having very weird, striking, vivid nightmares,” he admitted.
“I would normally go back [home] and try and have a bit of sleep, and I couldn’t during that whole period.”
He continued: “I remember going whole days just living off four or five hours max a night for months on end.
“We weren’t alone. People were having a much tougher time than we were.”
Susanna carried on the discussion.
She said: “That was the thing, this isn’t about me personally being affected, although of course our team has been affected and we were all very concerned about that.
“It was just that overwhelming sense that we were in the grip of something that was very frightening. All we could do was present the news to you.”
