GMB viewers were disappointed with Susanna Reid after she made a ‘cheap shot’ comment on the programme today.
On this morning’s (Wednesday, September 30) episode of Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan and Susanna were talking about the government when the latter said something that didn’t sit right with some of those watching at home.
Following on from a debate with Dr Hilary about Boris Johnson and his coronavirus rules, advisors Chris Whitty and Patrick Valance came up in the conversation.
What did Susanna Reid say on GMB?
Susanna referred to the pair, who regularly feature in the government’s coronavirus briefings, as “glum and glummer”.
A number of viewers on social media had a problem with the label.

Earlier on Good Morning Britain, Piers slammed Boris Johnson and claimed the Prime Minister has left the UK in a “rudderless” position during the pandemic.
The programme aired a recent clip of the PM in a woodwork shop using a planing tool.
They claimed out that Boris didn’t appear to be maintaining a safe social distance from those around him, and also wasn’t wearing a mask in the indoor space.
