GMB host Alex Beresford has been forced to address fans after discovering his photos are being used on a fake Tinder profile after he became single.
The 39-year-old presenter issued a warning to his followers on Instagram after coming across the profile online.
The fake account, which goes under the name of Trent, suggests he is “looking for a short term thing”.
What did Alex Beresford say?
It also included a handsome photo of the GMB star.
Alex shared a screenshot of the profile and commented: “Just to confirm I’m not 51, Trent isn’t my weekend name, I’m not on any dating websites.”
While Alex may not actively be searching for love, he certainly has a few hopeful admirers.
Earlier this week, former Love Island star Amy Hart revealed she’s set her sights on the hunky weatherman.

Amy revealed Alex is her “number one” celebrity crush during an exclusive chat with Entertainment Daily.
The 28-year-old admitted: “I will tell you who my number one is. The weather presenter from GMB, Alex Beresford.
“He’s just split up from his wife. I followed him on Instagram the other night.”
However, it hasn’t been completely successful for Amy. She added: “No, he didn’t follow me back. Rude!”
Is Alex Beresford single?
Alex is thought to be single following his split from wife Natalia.
The couple – who share 10-year-old son Cruz – officially called it quits last year.
However, they continued living together until two weeks before lockdown.
The star shocked fans as he opened up about their split for the first time in June.

Speaking on the Britain Get Talking podcast, he said: “I don’t want to grow old on my own.
“Life is for sharing and it’d be great to meet someone in the future but they have to be right for me, right for Cruz.”
I don’t want to grow old on my own
Alex added: “It’s been a massive learning curve, I didn’t think at the age of 20 that when I was approaching 40, I would be in this situation.
“The age of 40, you’ll be married, you’ll be a grown up, you’ll have a kid or two, your life is going to be set. I’m not old, I don’t feel old, it’s a bit daunting.”
