According to reports Gogglebox star Josh Tapper has landed a job at 10 Downing Street and will soon be ‘leaving’ the reality show.
The star, who has appeared on the show alongside his mum, dad and sister since 2013, will be leaving his spot on the sofa behind for a role at the Cabinet Office.
It’s been said that Josh, 20, managed to bag himself an apprenticeship and will work with the 2,000 other members of the team at number 10.

It’s believed that Josh’s apprenticeship will take two years and once he has completed that he may have the option of applying for a full-time Government job.
A source told The Mirror: “Channel 4 will, of course, keep the door open for him but it’s a really exciting opportunity for him. It’s a much coveted job.
“Josh has already started having meetings within No.10.
“The Tappers are one of the show’s favourite families and Channel 4 really wanted them to carry on, even without Josh. The family are very proud of him,” the insider added.
But dad Jonathan, mum Nikki and 17-year-old sister Amy will all continue to feature on the show.
And Josh isn’t the first Gogglebox star to head into a career in politics.
The Michaels family left the show in 2014 as dad Andrew was standing as a UKIP candidate in the general election.
The show also lost another favourite family, the Moffatts, recently after Scarlett Moffatt’s career has gone from strength to strength since her stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
Scarlett, her mum Betty and dad Mark were one of the best-known families on the Channel 4 show leading Scarlett to land an opportunity to head into the jungle.
But since being crowned winner of last year’s show Scarlett has landed a series of presenting roles on huge primetime TV jobs.
The Geordie beauty bagged a role on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and more recently on Channel 4’s revamped version of Streetmate.

Earlier this year Scarlett was left “gutted” after the show made the decision to ‘drop’ her family because it “wouldn’t work so well without all three of them”.
A TV insider suggested it was Scarlett’s new status as a star that led to her parents being axed.
They told the Sunday People at the time: “The whole premise of Gogglebox is normal people commenting on the TV. Scarlett is now a celebrity in her own right so it made sense she wouldn’t continue.
“She and her parents came as a package. It wouldn’t work so well without all three of them.”
A spokesperson for the Channel 4 show confirmed the news to MailOnline: “The Moffatt family will not be appearing in this series.”
Scarlett tweeted shortly after: “We are gutted to, thought my Mam and dad (and little Ava) would still be able to do it but we will still be watching [sic].”
