They’re best known for swigging expensive wine while watching TV in the comfort of their opulent home.
So perhaps it’s no surprise that Gogglebox favourites Dom and Steph Parker didn’t jump at the chance to swap their lavish lifestyle for the bug-infested, rationed environment of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The fan favourites revealed in a new interview they’d been approached about doing a stint in the jungle, but decided against it.

Now, we all know I’m A Celebrity can lead to BIG things.
So you may be scratching your head as to why somebody on a reality show would turn down the chance for further fame and a boosted bank balance.
After all, look what I’m A Celeb has done for the likes of Ferne McCann, Vicky Pattison, Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash!
Well, the posh pair told Daily Star they simply didn’t want to leave their “creature comforts” – or wine! – for weeks on end.
Dom explained: “People asked us to do I’m A Celebrity, and our answer was ‘not a chance’. I could not even chat to a cockroach, let alone eat one. It isn’t going to happen.
“Anyway, we enjoy our creature comforts too much.”
Fair enough!
While Dom and Steph have no desire to jet off to Australia themselves, that doesn’t mean they’re not fans of the show.
When Gogglebox co-star Scarlett Moffatt was competing in the jungle last year, they were among the Gogglebox stars tuning in every night to cheer her on!
And when Scarlett was crowned Queen of the Jungle, they excitedly tweeted: “I told you!!! What a fantastic series and probably the best winner ever!!
“Popping corks and sinking a few to our new Queen!”
Scarlett will be jetting back to Oz again this year but in a whole new capacity.
After winning the nation’s hearts as Queen of the Jungle, she’s been snapped up as a presenter on spinoff show, Extra Camp, coming in to replace the departed Stacey Solomon and Vicky Pattison.
Not bad, eh?!
She’ll host alongside fellow I’m A Celeb contestant Joel Dommett and the returning Joe Swash.
Naturally, Scarlett is THRILLED about it. (What’s not to love, though? A plummy TV job, an all-expenses paid visit to Australia, working with Ant & Dec… oh, and getting paid for it!)

“I’m so excited, I’m really excited,” she said. “It’s a bit crazy, I’m so excited.”
“After last year’s Jungle experience which was a dream come true, I can’t believe I’m so lucky to have the dream continue by being part of this amazing show. It’s going to be so much fun.”
Good luck, Scarlett!
