If you don’t follow Liam Gallagher on Twitter, you’re missing out. The former Oasis frontman is well known for his foul-mouthed rants that are equally offensive and hilarious.
But if you’re anti-social media, then you’ll get a chance to see Liam in all his glory on Friday as it’s just been announced he’ll be starring in Celebrity Gogglebox.
The wildman will be joined by his mum Peggy and 16-year-old son, Gene, on the sofa for the special edition of the show created for Stand Up To Cancer.
Liam’s fans were amazed earlier this year when he revealed himself to be a huge fan of ITV2 hit Love Island.
And his brother – and Oasis bandmate – Noel appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside model Kate Moss back in 2014.

Naturally, bosses at Channel 4 are delighted to have snapped up the mouthy singer. A source said: “Liam is one of the most opinionated celebrities ever.
“To get him talking about current shows will be TV Gold. If he’s half as ruthless as he is on Twitter, viewers will be in for a treat.”
It’s already been revealed that Labour party frontman Jeremy Corbyn is scheduled to appear on the star-studded show.
And fans can’t wait to see what Liam has to say for himself, taking to Twitter to share their excitement.
One wrote: “Liam Gallagher on Gogglebox is gonna be a right buzz,” while another said the union was going to be “Golden.”
In addition to Liam and Jeremy Corbyn, the special – which airs on Friday at 9pm – will also feature A League of Their Own stars Freddie Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp.

Plus reality TV legends Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. Liam said of the opportunity: “It’s an honour and privilege to be invited on one of my favourite TV shows, the mighty Gogglebox especially with my fam and for such a great cause as Stand up To Cancer.”
We’re already on the edges of our sofas with excitement to watch the show – Liam is sure to be a total riot!
