This has not been the perfect year for Ant McPartlin.
As one half of the nation’s favourite TV partnership alongside Declan Donnelly, Ant is a national treasure.
However, he’s had a difficult time in his personal life off- screen and is reportedly living away from his wife, Lisa Armstrong.

The reported living arrangements are a result of Ant’s admission earlier this year that he had become addicted to painkillers.
Ant damaged his knee in 2014, suffered adverse effects after an operation on it went wrong in 2015, then turned to painkillers.
Ant has since enjoyed a successful stint in rehab, and has spoken about his difficulties.
“I was at the point where anything – prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs – I would take,” he admitted.
“And take them with alcohol, which is ridiculous. The doctors told me, ‘You could have killed yourself.’ ”
Since leaving rehab, he has reportedly lived apart from Lisa to give himself some space and fans had been left wondering if Ant would be in the right frame of mind to make the trip out to Australia for his annual appearance on I’m A Celeb.
However, on Friday morning, the genial Geordie was seen looking well as he walked his dog near his London home.
Then, finally, his presence on I’m A Celeb was confirmed when fans spotted Ant & Dec at Heathrow airport on their way to Australia.
One fan was so overjoyed at seeing the pair together that they said it had made them ‘so happy’ and ‘the fact it was at the airport is even better because it means they’re heading to Australia for I’m A Celeb’.

The pictures posted by fans certainly seem to suggest that Ant was happy to be able to continue his I’m A Celeb duties, and he grinned for the cameras as he accompanied his friend Dec.
They really must be pleased to be together again, because, with all of those hours of flying time ahead of them, it can’t be easy to muster up that smile!
