King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp has revealed his marriage with Sandra is so strong that she didn’t even get angry when he ran over her leg with his car!
Harry accidentally drove over Sandra’s foot when driving his Range Rover near their Bournemouth home two years ago, leaving her with a broken ankle.
Now, the 71-year-old has opened up about the ordeal – branding it the “worst experience” – and he says his wife of 51 years couldn’t have been nicer about the mishap.
The football manager told The Sun: “I wasn’t concentrating, I thought she’d crossed the road and then I pulled into the road and she was backed up against my car.
“She never said to me, ‘You should have watched what you were doing’ or made me feel bad. Even when she was laying with a broken ankle in the road she was just unbelievable, she didn’t scream.”

He sweetly added: “She is my life and I don’t disguise that fact… She’s so placid, she’s so caring with everybody.”
The football manager’s wife Sandra was left seriously injured when her foot and coat got caught under Harry’s Range Rover as he pulled away.
Sandra was taken to hospital and underwent a successful operation on her ankle.
Speaking to the BBC at the time of the incident, Harry said: “It was just a freak accident you know.
“Sandra went across the road and unfortunately she had gone behind the car to cross over the road and as I went to drive off I drove over her ankle.”
He added: “Its lucky, if the full weight of the car had gone over the ankle god knows what would have happened to her. We’re OK.
“She had an operation on her ankle that went well.”
Sunday’s final of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! saw Harry take the jungle crown, and Sandra was there ready to greet him.

The star melted the nation’s hearts when he confessed on the show that he wouldn’t be able to live without his partner.
Sandra recently revealed just how patient she is when she spoke about the secret to their happy marriage on Extra Camp last week.
She told host Scarlett Moffatt: “Well, just being patient and caring, and not arguing too much, but what I find myself helps is if we have an argument, I won’t argue back then, I’ll argue the next day.”
We like your style, Sandra!
