Jamie Redknapp feared his dad Harry Redknapp might quit I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! after a week.
The former footballer is impressed his father – favourite to be named King of the Jungle on the reality TV series – has stuck it out Down Under.
Jamie, 45, has admitted he was concerned his dad may lose his temper on the show after seeing the football manager get angry in dressing rooms in the past.

He told The Sun: “There have been moments where I’ve thought, ‘You’re on the edge’. People say, ‘Your dad is so lovely. He’s so funny’.
“But he can lose it sometimes. In a dressing room I’ve seen him lose it and start throwing things.
“I was a bit worried that after a week or two he might go, ‘I don’t know if I need this’. But he’s stuck it out.”
The former England player – who divorced wife Louise Redknapp in December 2017 after 19 years of marriage – joked his dad has acted like dating app Tinder for him at times following Harry’s conversation with fellow campmate Emily Atack, who admitted she had a crush on Jamie.
Harry has snubbed a number of meats served up to him and fellow campmates in the jungle, which has resulted in The Vamps guitarist James McVey donating some of his vegetables to the football manager.
And Jamie admitted his father can be fussy when it comes to food.
Last month, Jamie said he wanted to vote his dad off the show so he can be reunited with his wife Sandra.
Jamie told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “I was actually really surprised when I found out he was going to be on it because he didn’t tell me, I read it in the paper.
“He was like, ‘If I had told you, you would have told me off.’

“I’m going to try and vote him out. I want to get him to come home and see my mum and get him out of there. My mum is more nervous than anything as she misses him whenever they are apart.”
But it seems Jamie and Sandra are going to have to wait a little longer to see Harry, as he’s best-priced 4/11 with Sky Bet to win the series, followed by Emily Atack at 11/2.
