Self-professed psychic Rosemary Piper arrived in Weatherfield last month, stirring up old memories by delivering eerie messages from the grave.
But cunning Corrie fans had a gut feeling – spiritual or otherwise – that the clairvoyant wasn’t quite what she seemed.
And now they have a theory about her true identity… And there IS a link to serial killer Richard Hillman.
She first arrived on Coronation Street last month as a customer in Audrey’s salon. She then ‘made contact’ with Audrey’s late husband Alf.

She also claimed she had a message from the grave from Gail Platt’s murderous husband, Richard Hillman, who died in 2003.
It wasn’t a very nice message though – as you’d expect from a serial killer. In fact, Rosemary explained that Richard had cursed Gail and her family. Which left fans wondering… Could Rosemary actually be Richard’s sister?
And, if she IS Richard’s sister, why is she in Weatherfield?
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “I’m calling it now… Rosemary is Richard Hillman’s sister!!”

Rosemary is played by actress Sophie Thompson, popularly known for her role as Mafalda Hopkirk in Harry Potter.
She also played Stella in EastEnders.
And, did you know, Sophie is actually Emma Thompson’s little sister?
