Joel and Cleo have been going through some turbulent times on Hollyoaks lately, with viewers wondering if they’ll ever overcome their problems and rekindle their romance.
But clearly, things are a lot better between the actors who play the troubled twosome – Rory Douglas-Speed and Nadine Mulkerrin.
The pair have been holidaying in Bali this week, and judging by the photos they’ve uploaded to social media, they’ve become an item off-screen!
And it’s fair to say that fans of the Channel 4 soap couldn’t be happier…
First, Nadine, 24, uploaded a picture of the couple drinking what appears to be bucks fizz on their flight to Indonesia.
Then Rory joined in the fun by sharing a photo of the couple cosying up on a bed in their dressing gowns. Once again, they’re seen sipping wine (well, they were on holiday).
The 25-year-old captioned the pic: “Soooooo cheeeeeeeese, but having the best time in Bali with @nadinemulkerrin.”
And Hollyoaks fans were totally smitten with the shot. One gushed: “What a stunning-looking couple – best characters in Hollyoaks.”

Another agreed: “You two really suit each other. Super-cute!”
And a third chipped in: “Oh my, you two are adorable.”
It’s hardly surprising that Nadine and Rory have become an item – they’ve been through a heck of a lot together on the soap.
Since they first shared a kiss in May of this year, Cleo and Joel’s romance has really been put through the wringer.
In August, viewers were gripped as the pair were imprisoned by drug dealer Shane. Then Cleo got pregnant with Joel’s baby but decided to have an abortion after she discovered Joel’s dad, Warren Fox had murdered her cousin, Bart McQueen and Joel had helped to cover it up.
Cleo told Joel she never wanted to see him again and despite the fact he’s been trying to win her back, she’s so far resisted.

Thankfully, Rory and Nadine’s sunny break looked somewhat more relaxed – and they aren’t the only Hollyoaks stars who’ve been advertising their romance on social media recently.
Daisy Wood-Davis and Luke Jerdy, who play Kim Butterfield and Jesse Donovan on the soap, jetted off to Croatia together last month, and shared their photos with fans.
Sounds like the Hollyoaks set is a great place to find love!
