Courtney Campbell’s battle to be a good mum to little Iona took a dark turn this week when her evil granny started manipulating her.
Granny has been subtly undermining poor Courtney meaning she thinks she’s not able to look after Iona.
We don’t have any proof but it looks like Granny’s turned off Courtney’s phone so she slept through the alarm and missed Iona’s check up at the doctor’s, as well as been taking stuff out of her bag so confused Courtney thought she’d forgotten the nappies and wipes.
And she even lost her purse – was Granny responsible for that, too?
As Courtney struggled to deal with everything, Granny was there to help.
But that just made her feel worse.
“Iona just cries when she’s with me,” she told Jesse in despair.
And then Granny dropped her bombshell. She told Courtney she thought she had post-natal depression.
Though a chat with Farrah made Courtney feel better for a while, it wasn’t long before Granny was messing with her head again, telling her if she was diagnosed with PND, she was risking having Iona taken away from her. OOH! Pure evil!
So a heartbroken Courtney told her baby that she was going to do what was best for her.
And promptly asked Granny to be the tot’s legal guardian.

Over on Twitter, the fans were horrified by the manipulative plot – and furious with the nasty grandmother.
“I can’t even explain my hate for granny Campbell,” wailed one viewer. “Please don’t let Courtney give up her baby to that evil witch Granny Campbell,” cried another. “It’s breaking my heart!”
“Courtney needs to get far far away from the evil old woman,” another viewer wrote.
“This is too heart breaking, making Courtney feel inadequate,” said another. “I really hope Granny Campbell gets her comeuppance soon. I can’t watch!”
And one fan even compared her to Courtney’s serial killer cousin, Cameron.
“The evilness in the Campbell family is just ridiculous,” the viewer wrote. “Granny Campbell makes Cameron look like a saint in comparison! She makes me so angry!”

Now Courtney’s made the decision to sign over guardianship of her baby to Granny, does that mean the evil woman’s won? We really hope not!
