Hollyoaks actor Luke Jerdy has spoken of his relationship with co-star Daisy Wood-Davis after romance blossomed on the set of the Chester-based soap.
Luke, who plays Jesse Donovan, told Soaplife he actually knew Daisy via a mutual friend before appearing on the Channel 4 show.
But romance didn’t blossom until they became co-stars.
“We only knew each other to say ‘hello’, but we reconnected when I joined Hollyoaks,” he explained.
Now they have been together for more than a year and have enjoyed romantic trips to Paris and Croatia, sharing snaps from their travels with their Instagram followers.
They live together in Liverpool, where Luke revealed Daisy, who plays Kim Butterfield, is the chef as “she’s really into cooking and food – she’s just started up a supper club!”
He added that he pulls his weight around the house too, though, by doing the washing up!

The actor said it doesn’t get too much working and living together, as their characters are rarely in the same scenes.
“The work doesn’t take over and we don’t often talk about it, which is good,” he said.
Hollyoaks fans may have noticed Luke has been looking more toned of late, and he revealed it’s because he’s currently training to run a half marathon.

He’ll be raising money for the RFU Injured Players Foundation in honour of a cousin of Daisy’s who was paralysed in a rugby accident.
